The Dark Energy Recon 2000 is a rugged, high-capacity portable power station built for the field. It stores 2016Wh of energy in a LiFePO4 battery and runs a 2400W pure sine wave inverter (4000W peak) for mobile workstations, remote basecamps and backup power at home.

How it's powered: the Recon 2000 is a battery power station with no gas engine and no fuel. Recharge it from a standard wall outlet (about 2 hours with the included AC cable), from solar panels (up to 650W through XT60 or Anderson Powerpole) or from a vehicle 12V outlet using the included car charging cable. Pass-through charging lets you run devices while it recharges.

Oversized wheels, a telescoping handle and a reinforced aluminum shell make it easy to move across rough terrain.
